THE THREE GRACES
The illusion is based on The Three Graces, by Peter Paul Rubens. The original painting, which is now in Museo del Prado, Madrid, was painted around 1630.
The three Greek goddesses are Euphrosyne, Thalia and Aglaea and were referred to as The Charities in Greek mythology. They are usually said to be the daughters of Zeus and his third bride Eurynome though some legends link them to other parents.
