These are quotes from some of the correspondence with Sharon:
I really appreciate your willingness to help me with this project.
Do you ever just knit the face until you get it right?
I tried changing the neck area put it never came out any better. I like it now but I just have problems with the neck. Any ideas or should I go with this one. He will love it.
I have had so much fun with this project. But I am done. So many other things to try. But I know I will keep coming back to this one from time to time.
Thank you for all your help it was so much fun!
Made some changes on the face but now I have knitted a new John Wayne and just have the border to complete. Thank you for all your help and teaching a great way to chart and have fun with new projects.
I cannot thank you enough with the help you gave me with this project. It was a fun, addicting, and frustrating time. I found sometimes it was all three at once.
Mike my brother-
Thank you so much with all your help. I am looking forward to my next project.
