YORKSHIRE TERRIER
This illusion knit was inspired by a photograph of a Yorkshire Terrier provided by the dog’s owner.
It would not be possible to take on all the requests that I get for illusion knits but this one seemed like it would test my abilities in creating designs of this type.
The completed illusion measures 16” by 18” using Double Knitting yarn, 3 mm needles and my very tight knitting.
The piece is designed to be viewed from the side and so is intended to be used as a centre or panel for a bedspread, wall hanging or throw or as a front for a cushion or pillow.
This is what you see when you look straight at the knitting.
