FLOWER EMBLEMS FOR THE WOOLSACK PROJECT
In July 2012 we made this cushion for Paralympics Ireland, on behalf of the Woolsack project. It was a special request and they asked for it to incorporate the Irish flag and the name ENZO.
The lettering was done using our Illusion Alphabets pattern.
The Woolsack Project was part of the Cultural Olympiad. Thousands of cushions were made for Olympic and Paralympic athletes from all round the world.
To read more about the project go to the Woolsack site.
We designed four illusion cushions for the project, each with a British national emblem. These were available free to anyone until the end of the Paralympics. They can now be bought on the Illusion Knitting page of our order form.
