THE GREEN MAN
The Green Man is a mysterious symbol of unknown origin. Green Men symbols are found in many different cultures around the world, in religious and secular locations. They are sometimes known as foliate heads because they almost always incorporate foliage. A few heads depict women and animals.
The mysterious nature of the Green Man makes it an ideal subject for illusion knitting.
This is what you see when you look straight at the knitting.
